Recovering from a throat infection and filling up on the power of sunshine, and NLP 😊
This book is fascinating btw...on how we create our own health and wellbeing (or work against it) by what we do, how we think, and how we live. Not just on a physical but all levels, since our bodies metabolise all our experiences.
Whenever I'm ill I approach it from many different angles ...physical, of course, including nutrition and other therapies, but also mental and emotional - is the illness trying to tell me something? How may my body be out of balance? Or perhaps there is a part of me trying to get a message through that I hadn't heard in other ways?
> Do I need to be kinder to myself?
> Do I need to do more of what I love so good emotions and joy are flowing through consistently?
> Is it a lesson in acceptance and letting go of control?
Or something else entirely...?
I tend to learn a lot from my illnesses or ailments... how I'm going about life, what is most important, and what may need to change.
How do you approach your health & wellbeing? I'd love to know if this resonates.
