Leytonstone Cricket Club Establish in 1970 by first Generation of South Asian Players, now continuing the Club's history and legacy.

Leytonstone Cricket Club (LCC) provided 14 cricket sessions for beginner and basic level children, not part of any other Cricket Club, offering from 5 years old to 15 years old. Our Club's Head Coach Sajid Patel led the sessions and coordinating with many Parents/Guardians. This was the first winter programme delivered by the Club, averaging attendance were 35 children. Also to mention to the NationalCricketLeague (NCL) Youth Development Officer Ayaz Karim also supported the programme with his advice, guidance, input and also attending the sessions to help out alongside other volunteers.

This has been an incredible journey so far.

Leytonstone Cricket Club winter sessions for children since November 2025 to now has been a real success taking place at Pastures Youth Centre in Leytonstone.

Takes place every Sundays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

Leytonstone Cricket Club who play in the NationalCricketLeague (NCL) organised an annual memorial game in paying tribute to two Club and Community Cricket legends in Haji Dilawar Patel & Haji Juned Patel at Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club on Sunday 7th September 2025. It's very important in keeping the legacy going and memories in our hearts.

Leytonstone Cricket Club Head Coach Sajid Patel continues in promoting the beautiful game to children, young people and the wider audience locally in the South of London Borough of Waltham Forest, soft ball sessions for children (Boys & Girls) from as young as 5 years old to 11 years old on Saturday mornings from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Wanstead Flats in Leytonstone. Session will resume on Saturday 23rd August 2025 till Saturday 13th September 2025 with plans to offer winter training indoor in October 2025.

Well played Leytonstone Cricket Club on a convincing performance with a 7 wickets victory against London Capital Cricket Club 4th XI who showed great resilience being at one stage 42 for 6 and putting on 198 runs in the first innings, standards in the NationalCricketLeague (NCL) Sapphire Division B is a great levels of Cricketers to take part in.

After the set back from last week's result, Leytonstone Cricket Club (LCC) bounced back with a 6 wickets victory against Brothers United Cricket Club at Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club in the NationalCricketLeague (NCL) Sapphire Division B fixture.

Toss won by Leytonstone CC, elected to bowl first, restricted Brothers United CC 115 for 10 in 20.5overs, outstanding support from the fielders and bowling line up, pick of the bowler is Iftikhar Jalil (4 wickets/ 21 runs).
In reply, Leytonstone CC 117 for 4 in 11.2 overs, Firoz Dogha the pick of the batting line scored 53 (24 balls), including 4 maximum and 6 boundaries.

Our Leytonstone Cricket Club Head Coach Sajid Patel supported a very successful health and well-being event in Leytonstone organised by Sai Epicentre few weeks ago, Sajid led Cricket Tasters for the wider audience which was also supported in promoting Leytonstone Cricket Club Junior sessions on Saturday mornings.
