• WKGG TO REOPEN IN MAY 2021.
• As many of you will be aware, the government's Covid-19 Roadmap indicates that gyms can reopen from 12 April 2021.
WKGG Boxing Club will not be opening until the beginning of May 2021. We have worked hard with Hammersmith Council and the Earl's Court developers to secure our space in the building on Mund Street W14. However, the building is currently being refurbished (to make affordable homes in disused buildings) and I am told it won't be ready to welcome us back just yet.
• So that you are all aware, Fulham Boys School have finally moved out of the building, but they have taken all of our boxing equipment with them during the lockdown. There was some debate as to the ownership of said equipment but they have apparently donated it to a posh sports club in Parsons Green rather than leave it for us and the community of the two impoverished council housing estates (West Kensington & Gibbs Green). However, I have been able to cobble a few shekels together and we will have all new equipment when we restart in May. Until then please do your best to attend the online fitness sessions and stay free of Covid-19! Thanx
