RIP Donovan Waite Sensei

Yamada Sensei and all of us at the New York Aikikai are mourning the loss of our friend and teacher, Donovan Waite, 7th Dan Shihan. As you know, he was an integral part of our aikido family for decades. The beauty and power of his technique, his generous and patient teaching, and the meaningful connections he made along the way will remain in our collective spirit. He will be sorely missed!
