Barnes Women RFC is the friendliest women's rugby team in London! We are a bunch of women who love to play rugby, go out and have a laugh. Don't worry!

We're always looking for new players of any ability, so why not come down and give rugby a try? We train every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 8.30pm down at Barn Elms Sports Centre. We are always looking for new players, and welcome all abilities! Are you interested in the game but never played before? Come down to a session and we will show you all you need to know!

The flock were in action again last weekend with more 7s fun!

Despite somewhat challenging conditions nothing could dampen the teams spirits and there was some outstanding rugby and vibes on display.

As always everyone was on top form but some players stood out.

took most improved as she showed her speed.

was forward of the day for her quick thinking play and being a constant threat with the ball in hand.

once again took back of the day for running in some outstanding solo trys.

Barnes silly goose 7s had a fantastic day out last weekend at Chiswick 7s. It was a gorgeous sunny day and the team put in a fantastic performance to reach the womens open plate final. Sadly the geese ran out of steam and lost out to a strong Saints team in the dying moments of the match.

Everyone put in an incredible shift but some players stood out.

showed everyone that props can do it all popping off a beautiful offload that led to a try.

work rate was relentless and she captained the team with a cool head to set up some great phases of play.

Our very own resident hybrid rockstar had a great tournament running in multiple full length pitch trys.

Finally .kongstvedt was unstoppable laying down huge tackles at every opportunity...only slightly tarnished by her silly goose behaviour of sleeping in and missing the first match 🪿

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Barnes women are seeking new players to join us for our 25/26 season!

With two teams we are the perfect fit for new and experienced players alike.

Perks include:
- free physio cover for training and matches
- free food on Thursday

- regular socials and tour opportunities
- friendly and competitive atmosphere

Pre-season starts on the 29th July but if you can't wait that long for some great rugby we are also currently training each Thursday with a focus on 7s ahead of a number of tournaments.

Barnes silly goose 7s kicked off their 7s campaign with a win at MK RUGGERFEST.

The team were undefeated all day to take the win in the social event.

There was some outstanding rugby played as well some incredible silliness...

The player of the day was who was unstoppable in defence and relentless in attack.
