The next Thames Tradesmen’s Rowing Club Learn to Row course is coming up! Book now to avoid disappointment!

📍Starting on Saturday 12 September 2026
📍6 week course
📍90 min sessions (from 11-12.30 Saturday and Sunday)
📍Group size limited to 10
📍Includes induction to Thames Tradesmen’s Procedures, Safety Measures and Rowing Technique basics followed by weekly water sessions.
📍For complete beginners - the course takes you through all the basic rowing techniques and builds you from a complete novice into a competent rower.
📍Cost £250

Don’t worry if you can’t make a couple of sessions, we can make sure you will be coached on the water during the week on a day/time suitable to you. We are very flexible.

TTRC is a friendly and flexible rowing Club based at the UL Boathouse, Hartington Road, Chiswick, London, W4 3TU. We offer both recreational and competitive rowing on the Tideway.

Wonderful outing to Henley Royal Regatta this week to celebrate the anniversary of Thames Tradesmen’s Rowing Club’s most succesful year ever. In 1976 the club won both the Grand Challenge Cup with an 8+ and the Prince Philip Challenge Cup with a 4+ Both coxed by Woody who is still coxing at the club. It was fantastic to meet up with the old crews and to hear the tales of an amazing era for the club - all dressed in our newly tailored TTRC blazers ❤️🤍💚

What a day at British Master Rowing Championship in Nottingham this Sunday! TTRC was well-represented with a men’s and a women’s quad, two mixed quads and four doubles. We had some great races and some incredibly close calls. Especially loosing the mixed final by 1 1/2 second. A great day out with a brilliant bunch of Tradesmen! Well done all!

What to do when there is a race right outside your club but you are not included? Paint blades of course! Our race crews spent a lovely, sunny morning painting blades so we will look great once we do get to race in a few weeks time
