Cariad Ballet was created to inspire the next generation of dancers in Michelle’s local area of Elephant and Castle. BOOK NOW!

‘Cariad’ is the Welsh word for ‘love’, therefore Cariad Ballet means Love Ballet!

Director Michelle Harrison is from Wales and wanted to give a nod to her Welsh heritage and her passion for dance. Her wish is to use her expertise to teach the beautiful art form of ballet to all ages, genders, races, backgrounds and abilities in order to provide an inclusive learning environment, where students c

an improve their self-confidence, expression, co-ordination, posture, team-work and creativity. Our classes are enjoyable and friendly but also challenging and disciplined. They range from pre-school to adult, from recreational to professional, from groups to private lessons. We follow the globally recognised Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and students have the rewarding opportunity to take class awards and examinations from the age of five. Classes take place at the beautiful Crossway United Reformed Church -
just off the Elephant and Castle ‘roundabout’! It is an excellent location in a brand new well-equipped building that only opened February 2017. The facilities are fantastic and the studio is light, spacious and airy, with a built in sound system. There is plenty of room in the waiting area, a kitchenette for public use and a lift for easy access. It is safe and secure with a reception and key-fob / code-operated door.
