Can you be a SECRET SANTA to someone in prison this year?
🎄 Bring light to someone in prison at their darkest time.
🎅🏾 In prisons across the UK and Ireland, every yoga class, every letter, every moment of stillness is powered by the kindness of strangers.
🎁 Giving to our winter appeal will help us continue to offer hope & connection throughout the year ahead.

The yoga charity I work for has a Radio 4 Appeal going out next week. Here's a short film we've made to tell the story of Sue - and the transformative power of yoga and meditation when she was in prison. I'd love it if you could support with a small donation.

🙏 Thank you to celebrity chef and businessman Levi Roots who is sharing his advice on how to stay healthy in prison, including meditation and yoga, with 5,000 people receiving our peer-support newsletters in prison this week .

🧘 Drawing on his own experience of serving time inside he says: "My mental wellbeing was very important to me and I discovered that simply breathing properly could be the best remedy for anxiety, high blood pressure and depression. It became a major part of everything I did on my journey to becoming the new, healthier me."

The wonderful Norman Blair is running a Yin Yoga Nine-Day Advanced Teacher Training 11–19 April 10am-5pm

It's in-person at Zolder Studio/London N22; cost £975 (two places available at bursary; £487.50)

A wonderful way to deepen and reflect on Yin yoga practice and teaching. Each participant will teach a 40-minute class; all participants will receive a substantial amount of course material and personal guidance.

Norman is one of the most experienced Yin yoga teachers in the UK; he has been running Yin yoga trainings since 2013 and his book ‘Brightening Our Inner Skies: Yin and Yoga’ was published in 2016.
