Before and after pictures of our amazing endurance athlete Alex Flack who successfully completed the Chicago marathon yesterday in yet another fantastic time.

Alex’s incredible training commitment and determination is now allowing her to explore marathon events all over the world and always with a huge smile. Where will her next stop be?!

You are a star Alex. Huge congratulations from all of us at Blitz xx

Congratulations to Blitzer Rachael McKinlay for successfully competing at Hyde Park RunThrough | Running Events & Community series event this weekend…..and for making the Blitz Hall of Fame too of course!

With a busy job and lively young children, the time available to train over the Summer has been limited. But she did it! A tough but “enjoyable” 10k race ✅ Rachael is keen to do it again but maybe not in September next time 😂

Well done Rachael. Great determination!

What an amazing achievement for Blitzer Vicky Lack last weekend - 13km Thames Marathon Swim.

From Henley to Marlow incorporating 3 locks getting out and back in the water and swimming for 4 hours and 23 minutes!

Just wow. And Vicky wondered why her shoulders felt a bit sore 😂 Congratulations!

Many congratulations to our fabulous Blitzer Suzie Brown who not only successfully completed a half marathon at the weekend but also reached her fundraising target.

So there are now sufficient funds to install the bench in memory of her dear friend, neighbour and our community committed Andy Sutch at Palewell Common in East Sheen.

Thank you to everyone who supported. Suzie you’re a star ⭐

Some firsts for our Blitzers this weekend, celebrating “special” birthdays.

Jo’s first 10k race enjoying the sites of the Saucony London 10K | Running Event in hot and sweaty conditions!

And the madness of Richard and Kristin throwing themselves out of a plane skydiving!

Lots of fun had by all! Congratulations everyone and happy birthday 🎂 🎉

Congratulations to our brilliant endurance Blitzers who have been busy cycling to Europe this weekend to raise money for their primary schools.

Fran covered 275km to Amsterdam for St Mary Magdalen’s School in Mortlake.

Whilst Laura and Alistair did battle with extreme weather conditions for 280km to Bruges for Thomson House School.

You guys are all amazing. Hope the fundraising has been successful. All that hard training has certainly paid off!!
