Chingford School of Tennis The CST has operated in Highams Park for 25 years. We have a permanent 3-court airhall, a dome (Oct-Apr) over 3 courts, LED lights and 3 outdoor courts.

A club for adults & juniors, coaching private & group and pay as you play for the general public. The CST tennis club has operated successfully in Chingford and Highams Park for over 20 years. The club is operated by Pat and Hilary McDowell, who have more than 35 years experience of coaching and managing tennis facilities between them. CST provides contract coaching to schools throughout Woodford,

Chingford, Highams Park and Walthamstow. Also many other tennis clubs in the area regularly call upon our coaching services for their members. The coaching staff at the club all have Lawn Tennis Association and United States Professional Tennis Registry coaching qualifications. And to ensure additional confidence are background checked by the Metropolitan Police. CST provides all the regular benefits associated with tennis club membership such as advanced court bookings, social tennis and teams in local leagues. CST’s philosophy is simple: to make tennis facilities available to the widest possible audience from members of the local community at an affordable price. Consequently, there is no playing-in test and we run special sessions for juniors, ladies, veterans and beginners/improvers. So, if you are looking for a friendly and welcoming local club with excellent facilities, then the CST tennis club is the ideal place.

Hahaha! What a scorcher we’ve had this week! Some of the clothes drying on our fence ‘line’ following week-long hard-fought grade 4 tennis matches at CST during half term for juniors up to adults. But don’t worry, there were no bare chests playing tennis! We also ran our successful half term holiday camp ending with a fun tournament on Friday.

Young tennis players have just finished a social round robin match play afternoon giving them experience in competitive tennis. We run these sessions once a month on Saturday afternoons.
Some of the Ladies morning class attendees on Monday mornings. Drills first followed by a game of tennis.
Walking tennis attendees for ladies and gentlemen, which started February this year. Classes take place on Monday mornings. All these sessions are indoors atm. Call 02085230900 for more detail. Pickleball coming soon.
