Standing at sunset in Seattle, thinking about my October home: Berlin. 🌅

Three connected events, each offering time and space for staff and participants to connect, support one another, share what we know, and dig more deeply into music, movement, dance and culture.

Walking the labyrinth in the Olympic National Park, reflecting on what makes the Berlin DanceMode experience unique. 🌲

We return to the roots of Blues by reconnecting dance with its first teacher: the music.

Musicians and dancers inspire one another in real time—the musicians passing rhythm and vibration into the dancers’ bodies, and dancers passing the movement from body to body.

Rather than separating workshops from evening parties, the Berlin Blues & Fusion Experience unfolds through seven live-music gatherings:

Thursday night • Friday tea dance • Friday night • Saturday tea dance • Saturday night • Sunday brunch • Sunday tea dance

Our teachers and movement educators work alongside the musicians, creating classes inspired by the music dancers will hear that day. This gives the community shared ideas to explore immediately—connecting more deeply with the music, their own bodies, and one another.

For those who want more time to let the movement settle into the body, the DanceMode Method Training Intensive and Camp Blues offer immersive environments for discovering greater movement potential. At Camp Blues, musicians are part of the teaching team, allowing us to live inside the sound and feel how its rhythms, textures, and vibrations move us organically.

No ball? No problem! 🦶🏽✨

Here’s another three-minute foot-care series for those who enjoyed yesterday’s video but don’t have a ball at home.

Just four simple exercises, both feet—and no props needed.

Use it to:

• wake up your feet
• prepare for dancing or other movement
• give tired feet some care after dancing
• support your everyday foot mobility

Go gently, stay curious and notice how your feet feel before and after.

Save this reel so you can return to it anytime—and share it with someone who could use three minutes of foot care.

Three minutes of foot love 🦶🏽✨

Grab a small ball and follow along with this simple foot-care series—one I regularly use in my workshops and with private clients.

It’s especially helpful for:

• general foot care
• waking up and mobilising flat feet
• preparing your feet before dancing
• soothing tired feet after dancing or a long day

Go gently and adjust the pressure to suit your body. Your feet carry you through so much—give them a little attention!

Save this reel for your next warm-up or post-dance wind-down, and share it with someone whose feet could use some love.
