Reintroducing myself as I haven’t been on here in a while. My name’s Tulani and I’m the founding director of In Your Skins 👋🏾
I’ve really missed hosting workshops and posting on here! This year I’ve had some changes happen in my personal life and have been focusing more on dance projects, so it’s been a little difficult to stay on top of it all, but I’m slowly coming back with a variety of new things for you that I CAN NOT WAIT TO SHARE 🥰
I feel so grateful to all of you that are following the journey and to those of you that have attended our workshops in the past - it doesn’t go unnoticed and I can’t wait to keep going with the mission of helping you feel good in your skin.
This space is so personal to me because I myself have struggled with body image growing up, and like most of us, still do from time to time - our bodies are constantly changing in new and unrecognisable ways. Rather than beating ourselves up or trying to constantly change ourselves to keep up with a trend that can be harmful to our bodies and our mental health, we can learn to keep loving ourselves through it all, because nobody’s perfect and no body is perfect, and choosing to love ourselves through thick and thin (although it’s bloody hard I know) creates long lasting self love.
In Your Skins is here to support your journey with your body - be it through dancing, journaling, self-massaging techniques, affirmations, tips, tools or reminders, we’re here for you 💕
