What is your favourite? OSU

9 Basic karate punches 👊 💥🥋

1. *Gyaku Tsuki* – reverse punch; a straight punch delivered with the opposite hand to the forward leg.
2. *Yun (Oi) Tsuki* – lunge punch; a forward punch executed while stepping forward with the same-side leg.
3. *Ura Tsuki* – close punch or “Ura” punch; a short, inward thrusting punch often used at close range.
4. *Morote Tsuki* – double‑handed punch; two fists striking simultaneously, usually one reinforcing the other.
5. *Mawashi Tsuki* – roundhouse punch; a circular striking technique using the fist, similar to a hook.
6. *Yonhon Nukite* – four‑finger spearhand; a thrusting attack with the fingertips of four fingers extended.
7. *Yama Tsuki* – mountain punch; a simultaneous double punch, one high and one low, forming a “mountain” shape.
8. *Kagi Tsuki* – hook punch; a curved, hooking strike aimed at the side of an opponent.
9. *Age (Tate) Tsuki* – rising (vertical) punch; an upward‑directed punch, often targeting the chin or body.
