Hampstead & Westminster Hockey Club, the club dates back to the 1870s and plays home games on the two artificial pitches at Paddington Recreation Ground, Maida Vale.. One of these is a water-based FIH Global standard pitch which was recently replaced in 2009. Both pitches are a mere 5 minutes walk from Maida Vale tube, well within zone 2. ated on the north side of the Recreation Ground on Carlton Vale. The Carlton has a large sports screen and with two other large TV screens as well it shows all major sporting events. The Carlton also has a very large beer garden and barbeque; the tourers amongst you will be pleased at the various sets of dice available. The Club runs 12 Men's sides, 7 Women's sides, 2 mixed teams 2 summer league squads & run a youth section. HWHC covers players of all abilities and all age groups and provides coaching across
