Alta Academy of Dance

Alta Academy of Dance Dance training is supported by separate Pointe and Progressing Ballet Technique Classes as well as exam coaching, audition preparation and workshops.

Alta Academy of Dance provides the highest quality of Classical Ballet training for all ages from early years through to advanced levels in a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment with an emphasis on developing good technique from the start. Alta Academy of Dance classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance Children’s Examination Syllabus from Pre-Primary through to Grade 8 as well the Vocational

route from Intermediate Foundation through to Advanced 2 and Solo Seal. We are confident that students will not only develop technique, self-discipline and co-ordination but also confidence, grace, artistry and performance skills.

Our dancers have been working hard practising their show pieces for the upcoming performances of Alice in Wonderland on 12th July at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts. Congratulations to Grace who has been offered a place on the Royal Ballet Junior Online Associate programme and placed on the year 4 short waitlist. 🩰

This is such a great achievement as over 1160 dancers auditioned. We are so proud of you. 🌟

Grace is pictured here at the Royal Ballet School on her audition day. She had the best time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 😊
