One of the main goals of HEMA is to exchange and learn about this ancient technique among students of this art.During a recent trip to London I had the pleasure to spend a few days in the company of a friend and great instructor in this, David Rawlings, who is amongst the few that contribute so much to preserving and advancing this discipline.in at his school, the London Longsword Academy, I had the honour to practice with his students and engage in some very captivating discussions relating to circular movement in a sword and buckler fight.It was brilliant to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones and even come away with a bad ass LLA t-shirt.Once again, many thanks!!
La démarche principale des arts martiaux historiques européens ( AMHE ) est l'étude et l'échange du savoir entre les pratiquants de cette archéologie expérimentale. Lors d'un récent séjour à Londres j'ai eu le plaisir de retrouver un ami et un grand instructeur, David Rowling, faisant partie des personnes qui contribuent très activement à transmettre cet art qu'est la pratique de l'épée. Dans son club, la London Longsword Academy, j'ai eu l'honneur de participer à une longue séance avec ses élèves et lui et il m'a partager son interprétation très intéressante du déplacement lors d'un combat à l'épée bocle. C'était un joie de retrouver des amis, en rencontrer des nouveaux et partager notre expérience autour de notre passion commune. Et..... J'ai un magnifique nouveau t-shirt qui déchire !!!!! Encore merci.
