This month's physical focus will be about increasing range and functional flexibility in the back body (hips and hamstrings)

Whilst we work with the body this month will also be about letting go and forgiveness. Letting go of the need for postures to look a certain way. Letting go of our limiting beliefs.

Forgiving ourselves and those around us so that we can live more fully in the heart centre.

Hatha yoga has branched off into many styles and schools of practice, but its primary goal remains the same: unified consciousness.

The aims of Hatha yoga, according to the ancient texts were: purification, strengthening, calming, stability, higher perception, expansion and illumination.

The ultimate achievement of yoga is resting in a state of total non-dual awareness in which you are in a state of connection with all that is. In other words, there’s no distinction between you and the ever-present absolute reality.

At Pranacea we seek to purify the body and mind through ancient practices with a modern spin allowing the souls voice to emerge.
