Since 2010 Blue Wave Swim school provides swimming lessons for children, from 4 months upwards in Southwest London. Currently we offer 'Parent & baby' and 'Parent & Toddler' classes for children who are under 3 years old and standard group lessons for children 3 years and above in Wimbledon (SW19). We also provide private swimming lesson to all ages including adults. We have classes for all swimmi

ng abilities, from novice to pre-club level. Our learn-to-swim programme includes 8 different levels, which enable us to group children both based on their water skills as well as their age. Today, we celebrate all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures who cheer from the poolside, brave the early mornings, and all hours of the weekends carry the swim bags, and proudly watch every splash, kick and achievement.

Thank you for supporting your children’s swimming journey and helping them build confidence, resilience and life-saving water skills.

School swimming; the Myth of 25 meter. Yes- The national target is just 25m. Because of funding and time, schools are forced to focus purely on survival: Can the kid get across the pool once?
