Tottenham Hotspur BTEC Futsal Development Centre This is a new course that Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Haringey Sixth Form Centre are running together starting September 2013.

Open to 16-19 year olds, you’ll receive up to 8 hours of Futsal coaching every week from Qualified Tottenham Hotspur Foundation coaches while studying to gain a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport. Trials will be held at Haringey Sixth Form Centre on:

Futsal is the only form of indoor football approved by FIFA, UEFA and the FA. With over 2 million playe

rs regularly participating in fast-paced 5-a-side action that rewards good technique and game intelligence, Futsal is globally recognised as one of the fastest growing indoor sports in the world. Many greats from the 11-a-side game such as Ronaldo, Fabregas, Zidane and Pele attribute the development of their skills to Futsal, having played it from an early age. The new exciting programme will allow you to:
- Gain a first class education that will help you go on to University
- Gain qualifications to work in the sports industry
- Train and compete in a professional Futsal environment
- Represent your local professional club
- Become a Futsal coach or referee

To ensure you are fully prepared for the future, the courses’ education package incorporates:
- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma - worth up to 3 A levels
- Up to 8 hours of Futsal per week including training and fixtures
- Full time 2 year course studying at Haringey Sixth Form Centre

Trialists will be expected to produce a football reference and an educational reference at a later date if successful during the trial period. All trialist’s will be expected to bring their own kit and trainers (for indoor surface) as well as drinks. For more information and to book a trial email:
