Dear Cycling4smiles community,

After my amazing adventure that took me through 9 countries and 3000 km across Europe, I have dedicated my time to promote what I have learned along the way.With people, other cyclists and contributors to the - I have heard the same thing! We want to know more about the country you are from - Romania - so I have put all my knowledge and time in www.veloholidays.com - a cycling touring company that looks into promoting the Romanian culture, stunning nature and amazing people.

🇬🇧️Thank you all for following us throughout our adventure! Finally, the day has come: the day in which this adventure reaches its purpose. Of course, all of you remember all the cycling, beautiful photographs, spectacular scenery from the road and all the stories. These were all meant to serve a cause.

All the money we raised will be used to refurbish old bicycles or build new ones from scratch, for less fortunate people to use in their commute. 🇷🇴️Multumesc tuturor pentru ca ati urmarit aventura noastra! In sfarsit a sosit ziua in care ne atingem scopul. Bineinteles, toti va amintiti pentru ce am calatorit, facut poze si am povestit intamplari. Toate serveau o cauza.

Toti banii vor fi folositi pentru a reconditiona biciclete vechi sau pentru a construi biciclete noi, care vor fi folosite de oameni nevoiasi in drumul lor la munca sau la scoala. Daca aveti biciclete vechi sau piese pe care nu le folositi, va rog sa ne contactati si sa le donati. Ne puteti contacta prin fb messenger sau sunati la numarul acesta: 0746972418.

Cine doreste sa ajute cu acest proces, ne bucuram de orice mana in plus de ajutor. Va doresc o zi frumoasa! Nu uitati sa zambiti!

*** MAINE, 18:00 - VAMA BORS - ALATURATI-VA IN ULTIMII 10 KILOMETRI AI AVENTURI CYCLING4SMILES ***

- am ajuns si in ultima capitala a calatoriei noastre, Budapesta.
Vremea a fost dementiala si desi pistele de biciclete nu au fost asa de prietenoase cu noi in Slovacia si Ungaria, ne-am bucurat de peisajele rurale si de diversitatea gasita aici precum si de un castel deosebit pe cursul Dunarii. Astazi parasim Dunarea si ne indreptam spre frumoasa noastra Oradea...

MAINE, joi 24 August, aventura noastra ia sfarsit si doresc cu acest prilej sa invit toti biciclisti si non-biciclistii sa bicicleze cu noi pe ultimii kilometri ai calatoriei noastre, de la trecerea simbolica a granitei Bors pana in Oradea.

Ora 18:00 este ora aproximativa in care vom intra in a 9-a tara a calatoriei, Romania, si speram sa strangem un “pluton” cat mai mare de biciclisti, sa aratam ca si romanii au o dragoste pentru bicicleta!

Pentru cei care ne-au fost alaturi de-alungul acestei aventuri, chiar daca nu va puteti alatura noua pe biciclete va asteptam la o mica petrecere cu mititei si bere. Vom sarbatori cei 3000 de km parcursi, vom culege zambete, va vom povesti "povesti adevarate pentru biciclisti" si ne vom strange mana in semn de multumire.

of and we have finally reached Vienna! It was great to pedal on the Danube with cyclists, vineyards and cruise ships that look so luxurious that the waiter would probably even know your middle name! We have done something truly special, cycled during night on the Danube up to 2 in the morning and slept under the open sky. We have also really enjoyed Linz - do to our hosts that made our stay special with long conversations and great local wine! We are going to take a day off tomorrow so expect a lot of great news to follow tomorrow! Meanwhile, enjoy the weekend people and some pictures from our last 2 days

Am avut o vreme perfecta de pedalat in ultimele doua zile care a suplimentat compania foarte placuta a gazdelor noastre din Linz si peisajele superbe de pe Dunare. Maine este ziua noastra libera deci va rog sa va "ciuliti" urechile pentru vesti si actiuni din partea noastra - chiar avem multe sa va spunem! Intre timp bucurati-va de pozele din ultimele 2 zile ale calatoriei naostre. Multe zambete si voie buna si un weekend deosebit va dorim!

- Salzburg you have truly been amazing! Every day we are happier and happier on our bikes . Right now we are on the way to Linz but we stopped to worship this beautiful invention that is allowing us to do such amazing things! - my half-way point and I did something truly amazing! In order to cross the mountains I climbed the ski resort and passed peaks that reached up to 3000m . Going through these ski resorts only convinced me to come back during the ski season. Challenges, keep on coming!
So happy to be joined by my friend Rafael, that has come from Romania to cycle with me for the 2nd half of my journey. This is getting better and better!

- Happy Friday everybody! I hope that the half way point for me on this trip finds you half way to leave work and enjoy a wonderful weekend!
At the very moment I am enjoying the ski resorts in Austria on my way to Innsbruck . Germany hasn't really liked me that much - raining until even my bones were wet but I kept going forward and you know why? For you! We have almost reached 500 followers which I am so delighted to have the chance to speak to! Thank you so much for all your support so far and I am grateful for everyday and I am trying to make each of you proud! But enough with the sentimentalism - to "warm my bones a bit I have finished to blog the latest part of my french journey - a "hot" fight with the French Mountains . Keep smiling people!

- France au revoir! Bonjour Switzerland. Made it past the mountains yesterday with a massive climb over - seeing the Leman lake from high up with Geneva and Lausanne around it and Mont Blanc in the background gave me tears!
