Edward Sinclair – Double Olympian & Head Coach
Ed represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games, Sydney in 2000 and in Athens in 2004 - as part of the 4x200 freestyle team which finished 4th in 2000 against the
amazing Australia team which consisted of Grant Hackett and Ian Thorpe. Ed also competed at six European Championships winning five medals and competed at three World Championships winning three medals. He also held the British record of 1.45.81 for the 200 Freestyle. Ed has been coaching since 2005. His coaching career started at Millfield School, where he also headed the Strength & Conditioning Programme. Currently he is the Head Coach at Teddington Swimming Club. He coached swimmers all the way to the British National Team who have won numerous medals at the National Championships. He also was very proud to watch one of his swimmers, who he used to coach at Millfield, compete on the highest level during the London 2012 Olympics. Ed has a rich experience in coaching swimmers at all levels which gives him the ability to adapt to the swimmer’s needs and deliver highly focused swimming as well as land training sessions.
