Your brain believes what you repeat.
The problem is, we don’t always create those beliefs ourselves.
Sometimes they start as comments from teachers, parents, partners, friends, or society. Over time, we hear them so often that their opinions become our inner voice.
“You’re lazy.”
“You’re too much.”
“You’ll never stick to anything.”
Eventually, we stop questioning those messages and start repeating them to ourselves.
But the opposite is true too.
The more we challenge those old stories and replace them with kinder, more accurate ones, the more our brain begins to believe those instead.
Not every thought in your head started with you. 💜
