More medio magic in Kali. Continuing to build on previous work on the sombrada drills, working disarms from each contact point. Looking at the subtleties, nuance and general principles that make these work, or fail. Empty hand kept the energy high, and the reps even higher with more Jun Fan kickboxing. Emphasis on the lead nau tek, before progressing in. The 1-3 series our main focus in the technical and pad sets.

Powerful work, honest work. Core striking with additional defence with our Rhino. Really, it’ll be all those teeps that they’ll remember. Lots of them, all worked from a stable and solid foundation from which to grow tall. Big pad rounds and a few grading splinter groups on the go. Impressive stuff, impressive enough to see the grading list expand rather than contract. Unprecedented.
