We had 2 coaches Gilly and David P at tonight’s club night doing some coaching. At Falcons we are getting ready for the upcoming badminton season and trialling out our teams.

We are looking forward to submitting seven teams for the league this year. Submission of teams deadline is fast approaching us, 29th August. All teams need to be submitted by the deadline in order for the fixtures meeting on the 13th Sep where Chandra along with other clubs will come together to discuss the matches.

If you would like to come play for fun our join our league matches we would love to hear from you.

We had a lovely family badminton day🏸
It’s a first ever event where we hosted a day for the families of our badminton players to come enjoy the sport with us. The children are the next generation of badminton players.

We had light refreshments and lots of fun for two hours.

Our coach Gilly provided the children’s large shuttlecocks, racquets blind nets and games cards, Chandra our match secretary provided the refreshments and our members like Gold tournament winner Robin and members such as Dhune provided training to the younger players.

Well done Comp 2 for a win against Trinity 2. Playing the final match at home today on this windy Sunday and ending the season on a high. This team can now have a well deserved break from competing!
