As we prepare to close our doors, here is a message from our founder. Manya
It was the best of times; it was the worst of times... to borrow from Charles Dickens.
Over the past 6 years, I’ve had the honour of meeting some of the most inspiring, devoted, and talented individuals—both team members and clients. I’ve witnessed the profound impact that boxing can have on people’s lives, from the young to the old. Watching that transformation has been nothing short of incredible. Of course, I’ve experienced my share of scoundrels, liars, and cheats — an unfortunate truth of this industry and its future. No matter how hard I fought to change it, some battles were never mine to win. Even in boxing, not every opponent fights fair.
The original vision was simple: to create an authentic boxing club that stayed true to the sport while remaining accessible. And I believe we did exactly that. In London—perhaps even the world—no one executed that vision better than we did. I am immensely proud of what we built.
Camden Boxing Club – along with its sister clubs Rathbone Boxing Club, Bermondsey Boxing Club, Kensington Boxing Club – has received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, with members praising our world-class coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and the welcoming community we fostered. Many have shared how training here changed their lives—boosting their confidence, discipline, and overall well-being. That impact is what I will carry with me. That is what made everything worth it.
But after investing everything—time, energy, and resources—I've reached a turning point. For six years, I have worked around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year. I have sacrificed time with my family, missed moments with my son, and put everything into this business.
