Ex-Premier League ref Mike Dean says he used to play secret games within games to impress linesmen 🤯

Dean said on episode 13 of Jamie Vardy’s podcast 🗣️
“There used to be games that we used to have, as a laugh, we used to say, ‘Right, we’ll kick off now, right? See how long we can go without blowing a whistle.’

“Done that a few times in the Premier League, before VAR obviously. Went 20-25 minutes without blowing a whistle a few times.

“I used to do another thing in the Premier League. I used to stand in the centre circle and see how long I could stay in the centre circle before I had to leave.

“That was just me joking about.” 😂

Ismaila Sarr’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, has made his frustrations public 🗣️

After Sarr’s move to Liverpool failed to materialise, he said “African players deserve respect.” ❗️

“The cases of Ismaila Sarr and Lamine Camara must all interrogate us.

“We have to get out of this logic where the African player can sometimes give the feeling that he is just a commodity: you buy it, you set its price, you negotiate its future and, too often, your will seems to go to the background.

“Our African players deserve respect. Behind every contract, there’s a man, a career, dreams and life choices. The fact that clubs can sometimes have the final word is a reality of professional football.

“But let’s never forget what’s important: behind every success, it’s the players who write history first.” 👀
