A week since my birthday and a week since my grandfather passed away.
I have learnt that it is so important to have grace for yourself when you are grieving. There is no ‘right’ way to feel or act. For me getting out of London into some nature and walking for hours in the woods was the best way to start processing my loss. Covid made it impossible to get back for his funeral, so I could only take part virtually at 3:30am London time this morning. The world feels very vast at this time.

My deep sadness is infused with peace, as I know we will meet again in a better place.

Last week was going to be the week when I really got back into social media and into building my company but I’ve learnt that sometimes we need to take time out to tune into personal healing.
It really is okay not to be driven and building constantly.

Tomorrow is a new day, a fresh start, a chance to show love, find joy and to smile ❤️

So I thought it was time to share a little about me...I moved to London to pursue my acting career. It’s been a pretty tough slog since graduating from an amazing university, WAAPA, a few years ago. Since then in-between gigs I’ve worked an array of different jobs to enable me to focus on pursing acting. But it wasn’t until I discovered a passion for Pilates and decided to train as an instructor, that I actually began to feel really rewarded in work other than acting.

Being a Pilates Instructor has given me so much more joy than I ever expected and I can’t wait to keep this journey going! Early days yet and there is so much I want to keep learning. And hey, that’s life - we never stop learning and discovering and I find that pretty exciting!

Acting is still a huge passion of mine but has been very constrained with what’s happening in the world today. And boy it has been a journey of building resilience and I truly discovered that we won’t find our identity in success or achievements but in knowing that we are all made for a purpose and that we all have unique gifts to bring to the world no matter how big or small!

I am so thankful to have found a path which complements my acting, that gives me such a buzz and makes me feel so uplifted!

My heart is full with the support from everyone and I absolutely cannot wait to keep seeing your lovely faces in my classes x
