Like training, diet is a vital part of bodybuilding.

Eating the right foods in the appropriate amounts provides your muscles with the nutrients they need to recover from workouts and grow bigger and stronger.

Conversely, consuming the wrong foods or not consuming enough of the right ones will leave you with subpar results.

Foods you should limit include alcohol, added sugars, deep-fried foods, high-fat foods, high-fibre foods and carbonated beverages. ⠀

A lot of people find it hard to differentiate between good fats and bad fats so we thought it would be best if we broke down some of the key food items in each category.

It is important to remember and keep in mind whether or not you are eating enough good fat or too much bad fat. Eating less bad fat and more good fat will drastically decrease the likelihood of you getting any form of heart disease.

Barbell rows are a full body, compound exercise. They work your upper-back, lower-back, hips and arms. They build a stronger, muscular back and bigger biceps. Barbell rows are one of the most effective assistance exercises you can do to increase your squat, bench press and deadlift.

To avoid back pain, keep you lower back neutral. a don’t let it round or you’ll squeeze your spinal discs. Don’t hold the bar in the air between reps or your back will tire and round. Rest the bar on the floor between reps.

A lot of people struggle with what to include in their diet for fat loss so we have decided to provide you with a complete list of the best foods to incorporate as well as listing their benefits.

We just want to reiterate that the key rule for weight/fat loss is still calories in vs calories out. These foods are just used to design a diet which best implements that rule. For example foods with the filling and high protein benefits we listed will keep you full for longer limiting your caloric intake 👍

We also included pizza to represent any treat/cheat meal which you might encounter during your journey to weight loss to remind you that is okay to fall back every once in a while it’s just picking yourself up the next day that counts 👀
