During January I set myself a personal challenge of not going on social media for a month...

I was expecting it to be difficult

Truth be told, it was so easy 🙏🏼

Here's an important reminder for when you get wrapped up in your social media use!

1️⃣ YOU DON'T MISS OUT 👌🏻

You literally don't miss out on anything.

2️⃣ How easy it is to be distracted 👀

It's crazy how much screen time we clock up. My usage went down 46% due to no social media so it was fat alarm bells reminding me to be conscious of how my use. It's important to remind ourselves to not let social media take away from where our energy should be spent..

Living in the NOW!

3️⃣ Is Your Feed Serving You? 🤷‍♂️

Instagram can be inspiring if you follow accounts that educate and inform on interests/skills that can serve you.

If you follow someone just because they are 'fit' or they trigger your headspace then maybe it's time to change how you use Instagram.

If you decide to take some time out, you won't regret enjoying the smaller things in life more without focusing on mental clutter that doesn't serve you.

I certainly will be far more selective in how I use this platform that's for sure 👊🏻
