SUPPORTERS’ DAY 2025

Very proud of our 2XV, led by captain , who won the league yesterday with a ‘hammer and tong’ battle against Cobham!. Really exciting game to watch, with some great tries!

It was a tough game for the 1XV against a very solid defence in Old Amplefordians. The boys showed real heart in trying to get over the line right to the very end, especially in the last 10 minutes and should be proud of the character shown in front of the 100+ supporters we had on the sideline.

The Vets were also out in force to kick the day off, with many Bec legends putting on the shirt again. We look forward to next season to see them back again - maybe a few more will be eligible for the squad!

Over 60 supporters will line along Openview to be entertained by our Vets against Ironsides, then support the 2XV who look to secure the league, followed by 1XV hosting Old Amplefordians.

Fabio’s steaks and burgers are primed and ready, Charlie’s Dad Band are tuning up to go, and bring your own pipes as you lead the charge in ‘Live Crowdeoke’ 🎤

Invite your partners, friends and family to come and support the Bec Old Boys 1XV & 2XV at Openview and Vets on Dog S**t Park. Should be a cracking few matches 🏉

All kick-offs are staggered.

At Bec Old Boys, the cheers were strong,
Though the games we played only went wrong
We fought with heart, but not quite our best,
and victory slipped away from our chest.

Then Santas gathered, with elves in tow,
Dancing and singing in the Christmas lights’ glow.
Court was in session, the laughs rang clear,
We’ll leave the losses behind this year.

In red and green, but no wins in our hoard,
except for one, for coach Tom Ward
We’ll raise a glass for the battles we’ve fought,
And remember the triumphs that time will have brought.

So here’s to the losses, and the lessons they bring
And to the wins, we’ll soon be claiming
For now, we revel in the Christmas night.
But 2025 is our year, let’s make it right.

We are thrilled to announce the partnership that we have established with The Boot Buddy for the upcoming season. Many of our players use bootbuddy equipment to ensure our boots last as long as possible, particularly in the wet season so we are excited for things to come this year.
