Bringing nature and design together for our final day! 🌿🏠

We wrapped up our Young Architects Holiday Camp by stepping into the world of Frank Lloyd Wright and his famous Prairie Style architecture—where buildings feel like a natural extension of the landscape! 🍂✨

For their grand finale, our young designers took Wright’s principles of horizontal lines, organic materials, and harmony with nature to construct their own Prairie-style treehouses! 🌳📐

Reaching new heights on Day 3! 🏙️✨

Today at Young Architects Holiday Camp, we zoomed into modern skyline design with Sir Norman Foster! 🇬🇧 Modern, high-tech, and sustainable—Foster’s work totally reshaped how we look at skyscrapers.

Our young structural engineers tackled the iconic “Gherkin” (30 St Mary Axe) by engineering their very own diagrid frameworks. They learned how crisscrossing diagonal support beams create incredible strength without needing massive internal columns. 📐🏗️

Day 2 at our Young Architects Holiday Camp took us straight to Barcelona to explore the whimsical, nature-inspired world of Antoni Gaudí! 🇪🇸🌿

For today’s hands-on challenge, our young designers stepped into Gaudí’s shoes to master trencadís—the famous Catalan technique of using colorful broken tiles to craft vibrant mosaic art. Safe to say, their patience, creativity, and eye for detail blew us away! 🎨🐊

Curving outside the box on Day 1! 📐✨

We kicked off our Young Architects Holiday Camp by diving into the fluid, futuristic world of Zaha Hadid—the iconic “Queen of the Curve.” 👑🏛️

For our very first challenge, the kids channeled their inner Zaha, ditching rigid straight lines to draw bold, dynamic, and sweeping designs. If today’s sketches are any indication, the future of architecture is looking extraordinarily creative! 🖊️〰️

Calling all aspiring creators, designers, and visionaries aged 6–12! This August, our premier Young Architects Holiday Camp is opening its doors for an epic 4-day creative adventure. 🚀
The 4-Day Lineup:
🔹 Day 1: Zaha Hadid – Master the futuristic queen of curves.
🔹 Day 2: Antoni Gaudí – Design vibrant structures inspired by nature.
🔹 Day 3: Norman Foster – Build high-tech, eco-friendly skyscrapers.
🔹 Day 4: Frank Lloyd Wright – Create dream retreats that blend into the landscape.
From sketching and technical drawing to model making and an end-of-camp gallery presentation, your child will build confidence, spatial skills, and lasting friendships. 🧱✨

🎄✨ Our final session of the Autumn term was pure festive magic! ✨🎄

Our young architects designed their very own Christmas village, then turned ideas into action by drawing plans for a winter fair – thinking about stalls, pathways, parking, rollercoasters and how people move through space 🎡🏘️

So much creativity, teamwork, and festive imagination packed into one joyful session. What a wonderful way to wrap up the term! ❤️
