We’ve been running King Alfred’s Way tours for 5 years now and it’s still as popular as ever.
We’ll be rolling out onto the fab trails again next weekend.

It’s easy to see why it is still considered one of the UK’s must-do off-road epics.

Covering approximately 350km the spectacular route starts and finishes in Wi******er - England’s ancient capital.

Surprisingly wild, unsurprisingly beautiful the tour links some of the region’s treasured and famous routes: South Downs Way, North Downs Way, England’s oldest “road” The Ridgeway and the Thames Path.

If that’s not enough there are countless historic sites some of the oldest Neolithic sites. - Stonehenge, Avebury Stones, Wayland’s Smithy, the prehistoric Uffington Horse et al.

A big shout out to the Wild & wonderful crew:
Ride leaders - past, present and future….

In the 6 years we’ve been running Wild Cycles adventures in beautiful places - we’ve had the pleasure of working with an amazing bunch of adventurous people.

These are the inspiring and super generous crew members who are very much part of the Wild Cycles family.

And they what help to funnerize our Wild rides and help introduce more people to more beautiful bicycle adventures.

What an absolute blast this weekend’s Intro to off-road riding it was.

With a fabulously friendly fun-loving bunch. Such good company.

Wholesome chats, excellent food lovingly prepared and presented by
Riding in beautiful places, with expert and encouraging ride leaders Nunziella and Alessandro .challenge

What more could you wish for.

Yesterday’s eclipse was a fully wholesome, joyful communal event.

Just fabulous to see people come together to celebrate this special celestial occasion…together.

Someone had setup a makeshift “viewer” from bits of plastic, silver foil and gaffa tape, another a colander to another who’d rigged up a Kelloggs cornflake carton…all willing to share (the equipment and the experience itself).

Wholesome and just lovely.

Can we have eclipses or other celestial events to bring people together like this….

Would you like to join Wild Cycles’ ride leaders crew?

We’re looking for riders leaders* to support 2-day gravel camps in the Chilterns (25 mins by train out of London).
Leading/supporting small groups of fun-loving riders on a selection of fab routes in the Chilterns.

* Ideally/preferably with Ride Leader certification.
