Motivation doesn’t just show up. You create it.
In order to be motivated you need to be either
a) Moving towards something (a goal) which you are excited about achieving.
b) Moving away from something you no longer want
c) The best case scenario is a combination of A & B. This will give you the most motivation to get started.
From there you need daily energy to stay motivated. This can be simple steps like walking daily and getting adequate water intake.
Lastly you need constant progress measurements, milestones and dates. This will keep momentum going and motivation high.
These are dependent on what your specific goal and any timeframes involved.
