There will only ever be one Gorgeous George, and how lucky am I to have experienced him.
Anyone who met him couldn’t help but notice him. Whether it was his silly personality, his presence, or the endless love he had to give, he left an impression on everyone who crossed his path.
I don’t think I will ever truly come to terms with losing him, but I will forever be grateful to my gorgeous boy for everything we accomplished together. I was his person, and he was mine. We learned together, grew up together, and became best friends. Although our journey was cut too short, I will cherish and carry with me our special memories forever.
How lucky am I to have been able to love the way I loved George. As heartbreaking as it is to lose him, I would choose him every single time. I know he will always be by my side, and a part of him will stay with me wherever I go.
A huge thank you must go out to Alnorthumbria Vets and The Royal Dick for everything they did for George. They treated him with such care, compassion, and dignity, and did absolutely everything they could for him. They treated George like the king he was, and for that I will be forever grateful.
I will always treasure our final ride together at Belsay Horse Trials. George did what he loved best, with his ears pricked the whole way round, and gave me a ride I will never forget. I am so proud of the horse he became and so grateful that our last round together was spent doing what made him happiest, bringing us home safely as he always did.
A big thank you must go out to my amazing Mum and Dad for giving me what was an amazing horse and opportunity and to Louise for trusting me with this special boy ❤️
There will never be another Gorgeous George Graham.
Gallop free, my beautiful boy. Thank you for everything. 💔🐴
