💫 Get out of your comfort zone! 💫
Today I did something incredible! I went to a hen party completely on my own - I knew nobody but the bride to be! I travelled to London and walked onto a roof top bar filled with amazing people all there to celebrate and have a good time!
Don’t get me wrong I had a few drinks to settle my nerves but I mainly I drew on all the inner work I’ve been doing to boost my confidence and it worked! I had an amazing afternoon, met some amazing people and am now on my way home to put my little ones to bed!

Getting out of your comfort zone is hard - but I did it! I had a mini photoshoot to prepare for the launch of my coaching business and it was scary!! The shoot itself was amazing and Faye my photographer put me completely at ease. But getting the photos back was the hard part. Why are we so critical of ourselves?? I would never THINK or SAY half the negative comments I said to a friend - so why say them to myself?!
A great tip I got from my mentor Noor Hibbert was to look for 3 things you love first. Smother that negative and critical inner voice in positivity and love! After doing this I had a completely different outlook.

A challenge for you today - really look at the people you meet. Do they smile as they walk down the street, do they smile when nobody is looking, do they glow?

Did you know that we actually have 3 brains and we use all 3 of them when we make decisions?
Our actual brain is our intelligent brain that processes all our conscious and sub-conscious thoughts. Our heart is our emotional brain - associated with feelings, obvs! Our gut is our digestive brain that produces most of our bodies serotonin (happy hormone) and is the base of the brain / gut axis. Ever heard of the phrase 'a gut feeling'?
To make a decision we are completely aligned with we need to activate all 3 of our brains - if we don't they could fight with each other and leave us in a state of torment aka up all night overthinking (which I have done MANY times). You might have heard of the brain, heart and gut being referred to as mind, soul and body or logic, emotional and instinctive - but really its all the same thing.
ACTION!! Next time you make an important decision STOP and think about what your brain, heart and gut are trying to tell you. If you are in tune with all 3 you will be confident and happy with the decisions you make.

OMFG! I absolutely love a documentary and this one is fascinating. Did you know that there are millions of hair like structures called mycelium that have spread all around the soil under our feet? They can relay messages like the neurons in our brains and is used so the ecosystem can talk to itself.
If you are on the fence about the power of grounding then I highly recommend grabbing a cup of tea and giving this a watch.
