A Sunday evening introduction to Emma, who will be joining our team of personal trainers at The Font Wandsworth!

Originally from Essex and a Londoner of seven years, Emma brings five years of coaching experience and a Degree in Sports Development to the team. Having traded a corporate career to become a Full-Time CrossFit Coach, she is driven by connecting with new people and helping them fall in love with the process of training for performance.

As a Level 1 CrossFit Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer, Emma excels at holding her clients accountable to their strength and fitness goals. For the past three years, she has specialised in Pre and Postnatal fitness, programming and supporting hundreds of mothers in reclaiming their confidence and strength post-birth. Her multidisciplinary approach is rounded out as a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, ensuring her clients balance high-intensity training with essential recovery.

Outside the gym, Emma is an avid weightlifter who loves hitting WODs with friends, walking her dog, Honey, or scouting London’s best new food spots with her partner Kim.

Connect with Emma for: Specialised support through pregnancy and menopause, strength and conditioning, or skill acquisition. You’ll find her on the gym floor, always ready to discuss your next steps over a coffee.

This is our 6 hour course spread over 2 days that takes you from beginner to fully competent top rope climber. By the end you’ll know how to fit a harness, tie the right knots, use a belay device and operate the auto belay machine, giving you access to every top roped and autobelay route in the gym!

Not sure how this differs from our standard intro❓
- The 1 hour intro gets you going on the auto belays and boulders.
- This course goes much further, qualifying you to climb with a partner on all the top rope and autobelay routes across the entire gym!
- The course also gives more time for questions with an instructor = more confidence on the wall

Part of the ship part of the crew... We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Crew Member to JOIN THE FONT TEAM! 😎

This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be responsible for delivering an excellent front-of-house experience, including welcoming and checking in customers, handling email enquiries, and ensuring all queries are directed to the appropriate departments.

You’ll also play a key part in maintaining the day-to-day standards of the facility, helping to keep the space clean, safe, and well-presented. In addition, you’ll support our café offering by serving coffee and pastries to customers.

This role suits someone who is organised, approachable, and takes pride in creating a positive environment for both customers and team members! 😄

This role will primarily be at The Font Wandsworth however it will be useful if you can take shifts at our other London centres (Borough and Hounslow) too!

Hourly rate is currently at £14.80 per hour with the possibility of growing within the company!

Perfect if you’re just starting out. Join us over a weekend for two 3-hour sessions covering gear setup, harness tie-in, belaying, and climbing technique. By the end you’ll be ready to hit the walls on your own.

Learn to Lead
Taken the first step and want more? Our Wednesday evening course runs over two 2-hour sessions and gets you lead climbing and belaying safely. Book in with a friend — this one needs to be booked in pairs.

Coaching Workshops
For climbers ready to break into the middle grades and tackle steeper routes. Choose from:

• Foundation Series (V0–V2+) — footwork, handholds, route reading & finger-boarding
• Improvers Series (V2–V4) — dynamic movement, twisting & flagging, heel & toe hooks, and projecting
