Meet beautiful Dorota!
Dorota teaches on Monday at 9.15 and 10.15 and Wednesday at 10.30.
‘My journey and passion for reformer Pilates began at SE9 Pilates, where I first discovered just how transformative the practice can be. What started as a personal commitment to staying active soon evolved into something much more meaningful, and before long, I became one of the instructors there.
What I love most about teaching at SE9 Pilates is the incredible sense of community. Seeing familiar faces week after week, building connections, and supporting clients on their individual journeys is truly special. I take great pride in helping people recover from injuries, regain confidence in their bodies, and witnessing their progress as they grow stronger with each session.
Reformer Pilates is something I’m deeply passionate about because of its adaptability, it truly is for everyone, regardless of fitness level or age. Being in my late forties and having always led an active lifestyle, discovering the reformer was life-changing for me. It’s both humbling and rewarding, constantly challenging you while also supporting your body in the most effective way.

“My Pilates journey began in 2019 when I discovered SE9. James’ Sunday 9am class quickly became a non-negotiable for me, and I soon noticed the difference Pilates made to my strength training and running.
Movement has always been important to me, but Reformer Pilates added a whole new dimension — deepening my mind-to-muscle connection, and improving my concentration, control, alignment, and breath.
I love the supportive and inclusive community we’ve built at SE9, and most importantly, I love seeing our clients fall in love with Pilates too.”

Here’s a little in her own words:
“I’m a Reformer Pilates instructor with a huge passion for helping others in the fitness world. I love incorporating Reformer Pilates into my routine, alongside long-distance running and weightlifting.
I first discovered Reformer Pilates two years ago while recovering from a hip injury, and it completely changed my life. Seeing clients recover from injury and grow in strength and mobility puts a smile on my face every day.

Meet Abi ✨
Today we’re introducing Abi, who has been part of the SE9 team for over 4 years. She first joined us as a client and shortly after became one of our wonderful teachers 💛
Here’s a little about her in her own words…
If you’re looking for precision, energy, and fun choreography, you can join Abi’s classes every Wednesday at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm.

I love doing dynamic reformer Pilates for the challenge it brings each time I am on the machine. Focusing on my alignment and the connection of mind to body movement keeps me fully present in every class, with the ability to switch off completely from external distractions.

Teaching movement has been my job for the last 15 years. I come from a dance teaching background and Pilates to me feels very similar- creating class plans that have purpose and intention that flow from the footwork all the way into the final stretching sequences. I enjoy helping clients find optimal alignment and engagement plus adding a little choreographic flair. I also love teaching lots of the same faces each week and being part of their practice… smashing the teaser, perfecting long spine and of course, the non-negotiable bridge series!

Hi, I’m Rosi 🤍
Co-founder of SE9 Pilates, Pilates Educator & Teacher Trainer, and someone who has been passionate about movement for over 20 years.
I specialise in functional, dynamic Reformer Pilates, with a strong focus on strength, posture, and helping people feel good in their bodies — not just physically, but mentally too.
After leaving my career in the city, I followed my passion for health and fitness, training in Pilates, yoga, rehabilitation, pre & postnatal fitness, and coaching. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work with incredible clients and train movement professionals through my academies:

✨ The School of Menopause
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:
a strong body and a calm, happy mind go hand in hand.

Hi, I’m James Arnold, co-owner of SE9 Pilates. My background is in personal training through James Arnold Fitness, where my own fitness journey and love of sport inspired me to help others move and feel their best.

Alongside Rosi, I’ve been lucky enough to own Pilates studios for the past 20 years, and we’ve loved building supportive communities through movement and wellbeing.

I’m particularly passionate about helping people improve their strength, mobility and performance — especially golfers looking to move better and stay injury-free.
