Sunday 18th May LONDON CITY UNITED CC play against Degenham & Redbridge cc. Earlier in the afternoon D&R cc won the toss and chose to bowl first. London city united two opener Kawser and Emran destroyed D&R CC bowling line up. Kawser who played a destructive innings at the beginning bring his 1st 50 plus score of the session 2025. He score 66 runs from 38 balls hits 2 massive six and 10 fours, then with the ball he picked up 5 wickets including a 1st hat trick for LCUC since 2022. After a brilliant knock from Kawser and Emran who score 44 just 6 runs short from his first 50 for the session. However, a brilliant start from the opener D&R cc bowler bring the momentum in the middle of the game and quick picked up 4 crucial LCUC wickets repel , shupto and two opener. Then LCUC was in trouble but rescuers Uzzal and KH rony played another brilliant knock in the middle order. Both did 65 runs partnership Uzzal who score 29 runs and on the other side KH rony stayed until the end of the innings and he score a brilliant 80 runs match winning knock from 70 balls, he hits 1 massive six and 7 fours that brings the 265 runs total on board for LCUC . However, D&R CC try to chase down that target against LCUC bowlers but consistently losing wickets couldn’t reached to finish line. Result London city United won by 151 runs. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏼💪🏼

Monirul in one of the finest all rounder London city united have ever produced. No matter LCUC win or lost some key players always give their 100% in the game Monirul is one of them. London city united lost their first game against London Spotiff but Monirul got his club president player of the match award for his outstanding low economy bowling performance. 7 overs 2 maiden 19 runs 2.72 economic then 31 runs contribution from 22 balls.
