Dont you wish there were more male role models from the older generation that stepped into nurture boys in this way because the truth is they will eventually become men.

What is evident is that our boys need this type of healthy man and or men in their lives. Thats coming from a women who is raising boys. Look at thr data, increase in male suicide,mental health the list is endless. I see these men in therapy also.

Men like are not as visible in our communities and what we have instead is a toxic masculinity culture where men are not allowed to be vulnerable, have lost their identity and are struggling.

Are there any men doing this is the UK?

HERES WHAT I MEAN WHEN TALKING ABOUT SELF WORTH....

Self worth is the value we place on ourselves and in a way is an internal sense of being and feeling good enough.

Self worth is so important to our personal identity and sense of self because

👉It controls the way we see ourselves
👉Our emotions
👉How we feel
👉The way we conduct ourselves
👉The value we place on ourselves

We often place our value in jobs, material possessions, comparing ourselves to others in terms of physical and emotional appeareance or in relation to the prominent people that you have around

However

Self worth is not your career, accomplishments, or external factors, self worth comes from within.

So if you struggle with feeling of low self worth and inadequacy, here are some things you can do to start working in this right away

1. Do a talent or skills inventory
2. Forgive yourself
3. Take calculated risks
4. Love all of you (self-love)
5. Surround yourself with healthy people
