Personal Trainer Responsibilities:

Consulting with clients to understand their goals and current fitness levels.

Creating comprehensive workout and nutrition plans for clients.

Motivating and guiding clients during their training sessions.

Ensuring clients train safely with proper form and technique.

Leading regular group workout classes.

Using in-depth knowledge to answer clients' questions.

Providing clients with regular feedback and accountability on their progress.

Working with management and fellow staff to ensure the gym functions effectively.

Soliciting new clients to sign up at the gym.

Personal Trainer Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Personal training certification preferred.

First aid and CPR qualification.

Past experience as a personal trainer or group workout instructor.

Available to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to demonstrate proper form and technique for exercise movements.

Enthusiastic, encouraging attitude.

Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience creating successful nutrition and workout plans.

Sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities for Personal Trainer

Work with clients on a one to one basis

Listen to a clients personal fitness goals

Create customized training programs for clients

Demonstrate training techniques and movements

Provide tips and advice on improving form and achieving their goal

Ensure health and safety measure are meet in all sessions

Develop a good rapport with clients

Qualifications for Personal Trainer

Certified as a personal trainer preferably

First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training preferred

Proven experience working as a personal trainer

Excellent social, verbal and written communication skills

Impeccable customer service and client focus

Strong working knowledge of fitness training and exercises

Enthusiastic and passionate about fitness and health

Maintain physical fitness levels at all times

Physical ability to perform exercises for long periods of time
