Most top pros were very talented at multiple sports and only choose to specialise at one from around 13 years old. It is important to develop skills in multiple sports as many skills are transferable and this will make you a more well rounded athlete.

A young here. He didn’t have the physical attributes he has brought to the game for so long then but his technique and manner on court are very similar. It just shows you how important it is to build a solid base from a young age both technically and mentally.

This has been a tough year for me for so many reasons, but today I received some great news for me personally. After starting my level 4 tennis club coaching qualification in December 2019, with 2 delays to the course and 3 separate examination dates given, I finally took my exams yesterday. I’m so proud that I have managed to pass both exams despite the disrupted course and disrupted year! Bring on the level 5 🎉 🎾
