Shoulder injuries are quite common place in the gym, I've had a few in my time, took me a while to realise how important warming up is. I've seen a few people in the gym incorrectly performing this particular rotator cuff warmup exercise.

• Raising the temperature of your body helps to increase the blood flow to your muscles.
• lowers the risk of injury.
• Minimises muscle soreness.
