HPT Chancery Lane Coming Q1 2025 🎉🎉🎉

Incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be opening our second location on the historic Chancery Lane early next year 💪

Buzzing to bring our Small Group PT to the area and helping more people achieve incredible results and improve their lives 😁

A massive thank you to all the team .c.quintana_ for running HPT Bank whilst I’ve been out finding the second location. And my wife for being by my side the whole time as well ensuring I didn’t go insane during the legal and planning process

And a massive thank you to all our clients, both current and previous, that have been incredibly supportive of myself, the team and the business as a whole. Difficult to put in to words how much the support means. Hopefully we will do you all proud 😊

Anyway, site 2 on the way to global domination. Or bankruptcy. We’ll see what comes first…

The volume of food you eat is important. Just because it's good quality food, it doesn't mean you can eat endless amounts if you want to get your weight and body fat down. Sure, you can probably eat more of it than Dairy Milk bars, but if the calories you consume throughout the day are too high then you won't see a reduction in weight or body fat.

📸 😁 An absolutely incredible transformation by Leah. Fed up with unhealthy habits and not being at her best, Leah came to us to make a long term lifestyle change and to whip herself back in to shape.

The results are incredible and after a few months of hard work her body is completely transformed. Leah lost over 11% body fat and put on 3kg of muscle.

From her pictures, you can see a marked improvement in definition all over her body but especially in the chest, arms, waist and thighs. In her face you can see a clearer jawline and her face is less puffy due to reduced inflammation and lower body fat levels.

How did Leah achieve the results? and how can you replicate them?
1) Consistency - both on the diet and training front. Leah took our guidance on board when it came to nutrition and was ultra consistent with her training over an extended period of time
2) Training hard - Leah always put the effort in when it came to sessions with us and also with her workouts outside of studio
3) Managing lifestyle better - Leah works in an industry where there are lots of events, late nights, deadlines, pressure. Focusing on sleep, recovery, better routines has helped make her lifestyle overall much more manageable and that drastically helped with her results

As Leah was achieving results, everyone in the office started to notice and since training with us she's referred 5 people, all of whom have also had great success with our programmes so far.

You could have a fitness programme designed by the world's leading Olympic athlete coach, with macro and micro cycles laid out, every set and rep designing specifically for optimal results and every minor detail taken care of and it would guarantee you the best results - but you hate it. And can only do it for 2 weeks before stopping because you hate it so much. And you dread the thought of even doing it. Then it's not going to work, is it?

Or, you could have a fitness programme that you enjoy doing. And it's only 70% optimal. But you do it every week for 10 years because you love it so much. That will yield many, many times better results because it's something that you can stick with and be consistent with.

So if you love 5-a-side football with the lads, or spin with the girls, or long walks with the kids, or park runs, or rock climbing, or whatever it might be - do what you love to do

Luke regularly travels around the world for work and wanted consistency and results when based in London. And when we say travel, we mean TRAVEL!! Sometimes every week for months on end. So routine and lifestyle can be very difficult.

🛑 IMPORTANT ⬇️
It doesn't mean you're not losing fat though.

Here's the basics:
- A true calorie deficit will mean you lose weight (the weight loss could be from fat OR muscle OR water and so it's not always a good thing depending on your goals)
- Even if your weight stays the same - it doesn't mean you're not progressing. Your weight could stay the same but you lose fat and build muscle - which would be a good thing and your body fat % would reduce
- It's important to use weight as one of a number of indicators to track progress

But, having said all that, if your weight isn't going down then you're NOT in a deficit. You might be "recomp-ing" i.e. changing the composition of the body by increasing muscle and dropping fat, but you're not in a deficit

So if you want weight to go down and it's currently not happening, then you need to eat less...

Imagine how good everyone would look and how healthy everyone would be if Mr Kipling Angel Slices didn't exist... or alcohol... or chocolate... or cheese... or whatever it is that you know you eat (or drink) too much of...

And imagine how fit we'd all be if exercising was easier than binge watching series on Netflix

Sadly, it isn't going to change. Most likely, food will get tastier and fitting in exercise will become harder - so you need to take the steps now to learn how to implement a healthy diet and exercise programme in your life so you can stay hit and healthy long term.

It's hard. But it's doable. And the rewards are huge.
