With COVID-19 regulations putting a halt on normal proceedings at our season opener last month, yesterday we were lucky to be able to return to some sense of normality at our second tournament of the year. The tournament was in memory of Marhum Aqeel Noorali and was held at the prestigious Mill Hill GC in North West London.

After praying Zohr namaz, 48 golfers took to the course hoping to replicate some of the heroics Rory Mcilroy had produced the night before at the U.S Open. As the rounds came to an end and the sun began to set, it became clear this had indeed inspired many or perhaps some of their earlier prayers had been answered with some incredibly tight play and impressive scores being posted, particularly from some of our junior golfers. The results are still yet to be validated and will be posted in due course.

After a long day for some, it was time for the main event of the day at Watford Jamaat, the world-renowned Jimmy's BBQ which failed to disappoint. We are very grateful to the jamaat committee for being gracious hosts and taking care of everything. We are also very grateful to organisers and volunteers on the day.

Overall, it was a fantastic day of golf filled with brotherhood and laughs. Look out for the results in the next few days.

It is with great sadness to have received news of the passing away of *Mohamedraza Alidina Ladak* who passed away today Wednesday 16th December 2020

Marhum Razabhai was one of our senior and founder members and was one of the patriarchal patrons of our society. He will be fondly be remembered for his humble and gentle manner and a huge passion for the game of golf as well as our society.

Mo’mineen are requested to remember the Marhum and recite Surah Al-Fatiha for the Marhoom
