📣 Follow-up Announcement – Urban Pilates Closure and Liquidation 📣

Dear Urban Pilates Clients,

We would like to provide you with an update regarding the closure of Urban Pilates in Hoxton and the current status of the company.

As mentioned in our previous message, it is with deep sadness that we announced the immediate closure of Urban Pilates. Regrettably, the financial challenges we faced have led us to enter the process of liquidation.

We understand that many of our valued clients have requested refunds for prepaid classes or active memberships. We want to assure you that we are taking this matter seriously. To ensure a fair and orderly process, all details of clients who are owed money will be promptly passed on to the liquidators appointed to handle the liquidation. They will be responsible for managing and addressing refund claims in accordance with the legal requirements and procedures of the liquidation process.

Furthermore, we have become aware that some individuals may be attempting to pursue staff members, including instructors and managers, for potential payments owed. We would like to clarify that none of the instructors or managers (including Rachel) were owners or investors in the business. Pursuing staff members for payments is inappropriate and should not be continued. Our team of instructors and managers have diligently worked under the direction and employment of the company, and any outstanding payments should be addressed through the liquidation process when it begins.

We understand that these circumstances may cause frustration and uncertainty. We will not be looking to comment individually during this time and so comments on social and e-mails will not be responded to. At this stage there is nothing you need to do, your details will be passed to the liquidation team who will in turn manage the process of any potential refunds to clients.

Once again, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your understanding, support, and for being part of our Urban Pilates family. We deeply regret any inconvenience caused and remain grateful for the trust you placed in us.

Dear Urban Pilates Members and Community,

It is with great sadness that we announce the immediate closure of Urban Pilates in Hoxton. This decision was made after careful consideration and assessment of various factors affecting the sustainability of the studio. Despite our best efforts, we have unfortunately reached a point where continuing operations is no longer viable.

We understand that this news may come as a shock and disappointment to all of our valued members and the wider community who have supported over the last 9 months.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your loyalty, dedication, and enthusiasm towards Urban Pilates in Hoxton. Your passion for Pilates and commitment to your well-being have been a driving force behind our mission to provide a nurturing and empowering fitness experience.

For all members who have prepaid for classes or have active memberships, we are currently looking at options and will be in touch in due course.

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to our dedicated instructors and staff members who have worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and inclusive environment at Urban Pilates. Your passion for Pilates and commitment to our community has been instrumental in the success we have achieved.

Once again, we express our sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you who have been part of Urban Pilates in Hoxton. It has been an honor and privilege to serve you, and we will cherish the memories and connections we have made throughout this journey.
