Hi šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I’m Anna, if we haven’t met before…

I’m not the best at talking about myself but I thought I’d pop on here and introduce myself…

I’m an artist and interior designer, yoga teacher, Gemini, dog person (I have a little rascal of a patterdale called Lenny who is just the best!), complete foodie, sunset seeker, love my home comforts but love a good adventure too.

I’m happiest when I’m making something, practising yoga, eating something delicious, exploring somewhere new, watching the sunset or hanging out with my friends and family.

I’ve always been a bit of a ā€œwhy choose one thing?ā€ kind of person, which is really how Savasanna came about. It’s a place for all the things I love and want to share with the world: art, yoga & joyful living and hopefully a little inspiration for you to slow down and enjoy the good stuff too.

That’s me in a nutshell. 🩷

If you’re new here, say hello! I’d love to connect and get to know who’s on the other side of the screen x

Just a little reminder that looking after yourself doesn’t have to be grand gestures, it can be as simple as eating your lunch in the outdoors or just giving yourself permission to do absolutely nothing 🩷🩷

I’ve had a few people ask where the name Savasanna came from, so I thought I’d share the story. šŸ¤

It’s a little play on Savasana, the final resting pose in yoga, and my own name, Anna.

For me, Savasana has never just been about lying on a yoga mat. It’s that feeling of complete presence. The kind of blissful relaxation you get when you’re watching a beautiful sunset, listening to the waves, or sitting quietly in nature and just for a moment, nothing else matters.

That’s the feeling I wanted Savasanna to be built around. A gentle reminder to slow down, be present and soak up those magical moments of life. ✨

In a world that always seems to be asking us to do more, I wanted to create a space that encourages the opposite.

The Slow Living Newsletter is a monthly invitation to pause. Each edition is filled with reflections on slow living, creativity and wellbeing as well as little glimpses behind the scenes at Savasanna. šŸ’•

It’s a quiet moment to reconnect with yourself and find beauty in the everyday. ✨

If that sounds like a welcome addition to your inbox then sign up via the link in my bio 🌈

There’s something comforting about looking up at the moon and remembering that it’s always moving through its own cycles, just like we are.

I started ā€œGreet the Moonā€ as a gentle monthly pause. A place to check in with yourself, follow the rhythm of the moon, and find small ways to meet each month with a little more softness, intention, and ease.

If that sounds like something you need right now, I’d love to have you there. šŸŒ™

My journey with yoga began in a forest in France ✨ a moment that quietly changed everything.

At the time, I was navigating anxiety and sadness around my mum’s illness, and yoga became a space where I could breathe, feel, and begin to process it all. What started as curiosity led me to train in Bali, and over time, to sharing this practice with others.

Now, what I love most is creating a space where people can simply be, to slow down, reflect, and let go. That feeling at the end of class, in stillness and ease, is everything šŸ¤

Yoga, to me, isn’t about being flexible or ā€œspiritual enough.ā€ It’s for anyone, for any reason. It’s about coming home to yourself, even just once a month, and making space for what really matters.

This path has taught me to choose presence over fear, to honour my own voice, and to find beauty in the small, everyday moments 🌿

It really is the simple things in life that bring me the most joy! I get so excited seeing the things I’ve planted come into bloom 🌷

Maybe it’s my age 🤪 but this is one of the things I look forward to everyday, checking my garden for new flowers and new life 🌺

Alongside my yoga career I work as an interior designer and I strongly believe the places we find ourselves in can have a huge impact on our wellbeing.
