19 weeks until Christmas. That’s enough time to lose 10kg without doing anything drastic.

Around half a kilo a week. Slow enough to keep your energy, your training quality and your muscle intact, and slow enough that you aren’t miserable through December to get there.

What it actually takes is in the slides. A deficit you can hold. Enough protein to protect lean tissue. Lifting two to four times a week. Steps, sleep, and a plan for the six weeks of parties at the end. No fad diets, no punishment cardio, no cutting meals out.

Most people who miss this don’t lack discipline. They lose half the run to stopping and restarting.

I take on a small number of women at a time and build this around the life you already have.

DM me 10KG and I’ll show you what your plan would look like.

There was a stretch after Lucy had her twins when, in her own words, some days she didn’t even have time for a shower. Let alone a workout.

By the time we started working together again, she was also running her own business. Training had to fit between clients and the kids, mostly at home with the kit she had available.

The scales kept making her question whether it was working. Some weeks her weight barely moved. Other weeks it crept up, even though she could see her body starting to change.

So we built the plan around her actual week.

Her programme was three home sessions, written for the equipment she had. Each workout gave her numbers to improve on, so progress still showed up even when the scales didn’t move.

We used photos and tape measurements too, which meant one odd weigh-in didn’t get to decide whether she was making progress.

And each week we went through everything together. Her training, her food, what the numbers were actually saying. That’s the part people miss when they go it alone: knowing whether a slow week means the plan needs changing or just needs sticking to.

5 kg down. 8.5 cm off her waist.

That 8.5 cm reduction is exactly why I don’t let clients judge their progress by the scales alone. Lucy wasn’t just getting lighter. Her body shape was changing too, and you can see that in the photos.

She also got her first chin-up, a goal she’d had since we first trained together years ago.

If you’re trying to fit training around a business and kids, and the scales keep telling you nothing’s working, DM me READY and I’ll tell you what I’d change.

Camilla’s own words, from a message she sent me for this post:
“I’d never been to the gym before, hated exercise and had no understanding of nutrition for me or my kids.”

That was after she’d recently had her daughter, relocated, and started a new job. She was a size 14 and desperate to fit into a pair of size 12 jeans.

She started by making small changes. Walking more. Paying more attention to food. Building momentum.

By the time we started working together she’d already made fantastic progress on her own.

Since then, the focus has been on building confidence and creating something sustainable.

Today she wears a size 6.

Sometimes we assume we’re failing when we’re simply tired, overwhelmed or expecting too much from ourselves.

What impresses me most about Camilla isn’t this photo.

It’s the fact she keeps going through the self-doubt, the busy periods, the setbacks and the weeks where she questions herself.

A brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved

Half the year is gone. The other half hasn’t been decided yet.

3,200 waking hours between now and January. Enough to change how you look, how you train, and how you think about both.

If this is the half you stop starting over, DM me PLAN.

When Keri first started, she felt stuck.

Work, stress, and a busy life had pushed her health to the side. She knew what she wanted to change, she just hadn’t found a way to make it last.

“I’m just enjoying feeling generally good in myself,” she said early on.

“I’m noticing how much more confident and happier I’m becoming in the gym and in myself.”

This time, instead of trying to overhaul everything at once, she learned balance.

And when things got hard, she showed up anyway.

She’s now over 20kg lighter, stronger, and genuinely happier.

Not just with how she looks, but how she feels.

You don’t need the perfect moment.

You need a structure that fits your life, and someone in your corner when it gets tough.

If Keri’s story feels close to where you are now, send me a message with READY and I’ll talk you through how coaching could work for you.
