Coronation Chicken, tomato & red onion & flour tortilla chips

Great light summers lunch 🥗

Ingredients:
2x coronation chicken flatties
1x cup of cherry tomatoes (diced)
1/2x of diced red onion
2x tb spoon of balsamic vinegar
2x tb spoon of olive oil
1x flour tortilla
Method:
1. Grill the chicken for 15/20 minutes and leave to cool off
2. Whilst they are cooling off, dice the tomatoes and red onion, place in a bowl and pour in the vinegar and olive oil, season and mix all together.
3. Cut up the tortilla and place in the grill for 3-4 minutes.
4. Place up the salad, chicken and tortilla and you’ve got a healthy and light lunch.

Calories: 508kcal
Carbohydrates: 40g
Protein: 47g
Fat: 7g

Stretching helps a lot with injury prevention and reducing pain as it lengthens the muscle and decreases the chances of tearing the muscle. Also it reduces pain by releasing the tension in the muscle and soreness in the area.

🧠The mental health benefits of exercise🧠

With this week being I thought this post would be very fitting. There are many benefits of working out, one of the biggest benefits are the happy hormone being released which are endorphins, this helps improve mood and increase productivity.

Exercise can also help improve a sense of control over wellbeing and can also improve mental clarity.

Exercising can also help with reducing stress and can stimulate rest and relaxation which is why exercising in the evening can have its bonuses.

There are many other ways to help improve mental health but exercise is definitely one that can help improve mental state. Remember to check up on each other and be mindful.

🌅🌌”Whats the best time to workout? Morning or Evening?”🌅🌌

This is a question that I get from clients who plan their weeks training. I always reply with what works best for them? Fitting in an hour workout in the morning has a lot of benefits but so does fitting in an hour workout in the evening.
In the morning is a good choice if you want to get it just out of the way and move on with your day, it also means that the gym could be quieter so more equipment would be available. A downside of working out in the morning is that you could be still half sleep and also could be running on little to no food.

An evening workout has the benefits of acting as a stress reliever from your day of work and errands. You will also have a day worth of food to burn so you will feel more energetic compared to the morning. The downside of working out in the evening is that you might have conflicts with work so workout might get pushed to another day.

When planning to workout, it should fit into your schedule to suit you. Yes, there are benefits to both training in the morning and evening but the main thing to keep in mind when planning a workout is when it should suit you!
