“This weight is too easy”.
 
Says every Personal Training client during their first session.

..draped, spread and splayed all over the internet.

Those that are PAID to look good, insist on filling our feeds.

So…. I’ve had an idea 💡

We insist for every 10 photos,

they post one EXTREMELY comprising one.

No make-up, no studio, no fancy camera.

Just an influencer looking their absolute worst.

To remind us that they are a flawed human, like us.

Warming-up is like flossing… you know it’s important, but it doesn’t really feel like you’re doing anything so it’s often skipped.

Here’s a mini-guide to warming up, because it is actually pretty important.

Back in London we easily did 10,000 steps per day.

That’s about 300-400 calories burned.

In Thailand, we drive everywhere.

Our steps are down to around 2000 per day.

To maintain our current body weight, we’d have to reduce calorie intake by about 250 per day to take this into account.

Most people gain weight when they start sedentary jobs.

They don’t make this vital calorie adjustment, and they end up eating more out of pure boredom.

The result: weight gain.

Which honestly is such a headache to shift.. albeit not impossible.

Avoid needing to by being proactive.

Eat one less cookie.

Drink one less coffee.

Go on a nice walk.

And squeeze in a tonne of steps!

Sometimes the best training for your goals isn’t the easiest to stay consistent at.

If you’re more likely to squeeze in a 30min class over an hour long gym session then do that.

Consistency is king.

NOTE: This is me and Han after a sweaty CrossFit session. It is 100% in line with our goal, which is to get good at CrossFit 💪🏻
