Sometime ago, I was quite poorly.
One of those things that drag on and on ...which is now a normal about living in London.
Growing up in a very cosmopolitan social setting in Bombay and yet a very patriarchal society in India, it was unheard of that a married woman and a mother should be sick and resting in bed.
I remember my husband's mother saying to me, "๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐จ๐ฆ๐ต ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฏ. ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ข ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ช๐ด ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฏ, ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ด๐ถ๐ง๐ง๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด".
And that made me think...if that is the case, then the opposite should also be true, no?
